The clock is ticking. Just over 48 hours to go until Christmas Day. This year, Hanukkah is as well! Still have some presents you haven’t bought yet? No worries. I’m the last person who is going to judge you this year.
If you’re looking for something for the new mom in your life, you’re in luck. There are a number of great options that can get to you pretty quickly, some of which you can even have in hand and ready to go. Here are some of my favorite items I’ve found especially useful as of late to get you thinking.
Lalabu Soothe Shirt. This is one of my favorites! Moms with a new little one will love this option, which allows you to keep your wee one snuggled up to you while they are between 7 and 15 pounds. The shirt is available via their site or also via Amazon (and yes, with my favorite – Prime shipping). They even have a version of this one available for new dads!
Stroller gloves. Somehow I missed this was a thing when we were registering, but I’m obsessed with these gloves. If you’re buying for a new mom and they’re in a colder location, they will thank you for this. The 7 A.M. Enfant ones are lovely and fluffy and available with quick shipping both on Diapers.com and Amazon.
Spa gift certificate. While you’re pregnant, you can’t get a “normal” massage – which makes the promise of getting one after delivery that more exciting. They are going to be so consumed with all things baby that having something like this in their back pocket for that first free “me” day they get is gold. I know some feel like gift certificates are lame or impersonal, but no mama is going to dislike that element of choice that accompanies most gift certificates!
Fitness boutique gift certificate. This is another super helpful thing post-partum, as most moms will be figuring on best option to try to work off a touch of that baby weight. Some ideas to consider include SoulCycle, Pure Barre, Bar Method, Barry’s Bootcamp or even the online option I’ve been trying lately, Daily Burn. (More coming on post-partum fitness in an upcoming post!)
Nursing wrap/v-neck dress. These are magical options. They work great during pregnancy and transition well into nursing/post-partum wear. These are the most useful options by far in my closet to look nice without worrying about fit. Here are some ideas available online (note: not all will arrive in time for Christmas or Hanukkah). For Macy’s, you can even e-gift the item to someone and they can choose their own size. Pretty cool.

Modern Eternity 3 in 1 coat. This coat is genius. It covers you for all stages! There is a customizable insert in the middle. Insert it one way, and it is a maternity coat. Flip it the other way, and it goes around your baby’s carrier to keep them warm. Remove it all together and it works as a regular winter coat. Bonus points for the attached fluffy hood.
Have another idea to share? Leave it in the comments! Would love to hear.
