an extra dose of love coming this february

October 1, 2018 by Lara Leave a Comment

It’s an exciting time at our house as we are expecting a new addition this February! We’ve been trying to explain the upcoming change to Q, who understands in words that he has a baby sister on the way but we aren’t sure he really gets what that means yet. Luckily, there’s still some time for that to sink in.

I’ve definitely been slowing down a bit on all fronts, as you likely have noticed in my frequency of posting here. I’m currently 21 weeks along. Over the halfway mark but with what feels like forever left to go. It has been a very different pregnancy this time around in so many ways. More to come on that and on a number of things I have planned for the coming weeks.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to take pregnancy style this time around and make it work for cooler months without looking like a brick house (winter maternity clothes aren’t so great). And even though 19 weeks sounds like a long time, I’m starting to think about all the things we need to get done over the next several months before she joins us, including that much needed hospital go-bag. Bottom line though, we are so incredibly excited about this big next step for our family!
