April 28, 2022 by Lara Leave a Comment

Right now we are at a combo of how is it almost at May — yet thank goodness warmer temps are oh so close. I’m always over the cold by now — ready for sure from backyard inflatable pool time!

Before these April hours expire, wanted to share a quick roundup of some April faves. As always, drop some of yours in the comments!

Fave splurges

I’m SO EXCITED to get my Uplift Active single-point aerial dance hammock set up in the backyard — hopefully this weekend! I‘ve wanted to set one up in our gym area for a while, but it will require a bigger conversation as it requires adequate support for a heavy load. I discovered there is one immediate option — repurposing out backyard swing set for the best workout ever.

in case you missed my earlier post on it, we have also enjoyed several meals through the Wonder app. Such a worthwhile splurge. Highly recommend. Still need to figure a time for us to get a meal from Frankie’s!

Currently streaming

We watched the first episode of Inventing Anna. I have to say I was not instantly hooked but I’m not giving up yet. Let’s be real – I’ve spent too many hours of my life indulging in Shondaland for it to not ultimately work out.

I’m also halfway through the latest season of Selling Sunset. I think my interest in the houses over the drama between the ladies has increased. It is also a tad anti-climactic to have so much of the season focused on Chrishell and Jason when she spoiled how that goes on Instagram months ago. But I’m in it anyhow through to the end.

Peloton recs

I tried lots of great classes throughout the month. If you’re looking for some to try, check these out!

  • Christine’s 30 minute Women’s History Month reflective ride (4/18/22)
  • Jess Sims’ 45 minute Jock Jams bootcamp (4/12/22)
  • Cody’s 60 minute pop ride (3/26/22)
  • Cody’s 30 minute XOXO ride (4/12/22)
  • Matty Maggiacomo’s 30 minute pop run (4/1/22)
  • Hannah Corbin’s 20 minute Latin barre (2/16/22)

What was good in your world?
