One of my favorite ways to experience any place is through the best food. After we went to the Franklin Institute we headed to a restaurant and when I saw Federal Donuts was on the way back to our car, I was thrilled.

The only problem? Deciding. There were too many k wanted to try and I knew we could only get so many.

I finally landed on our assortment. I had to try their raspberry linzer, which was their classic spiced cake donut with raspberry glaze and topped with lemon shortbread crumb and confectioners sugar. I took him T their date Regina donut, which was their classic spiced cake donut with sesame tehina glaze & a sweet date glaze drizzle. And the kids loved their chocolate and strawberry donuts as well!
Next time I’ll have to have their red eye, which is a coffee swirl cake donut with espresso icing and topped with freshly ground espresso. We will definitely be back!
