The 2018 New York Baby Show, on May 19 & 20 at Pier 94 will once again be the largest show for new and expectant parents in the country. Now in its 8th year, no other event provides a better experience for thousands of expectant and new families from New York and neighboring counties, seeking a family-friendly jamboree of top brands, great speakers and seminars, big giveaways, and lots of learning, support, bonding, and fun as you make your way into parenthood.

Grits in the City - Mommy Blogger - Family Blogger - Lifestyle Blogger - Lara Ziobro

After sitting out last year (we were just moving into a our new house), I’m excited to return this year to check out this year’s slate of vendors. I had a great time when I attended in 2016 only month’s before Q’s arrival and left with more products and freebies than my bag and arms could handle. This year, I’m giving away 10 tickets so you and your family can experience the show, too!

Entry Details

To enter, all you have to do is to comment on this post and let me know what product/merchandise category you’ve been most obsessed with for your little one (or little-one-to-be). For us, this has been pretty basic these days – books! You’ll receive an extra entry if you:

Recently I’ve been obsessed with dock a tot. I’ve been reading up on this product. Multi use!!! Great for co sleeping, helping babies sleep on their own, use it for travel on the plane, and you can use it for tummy time. I love multi use products! I hate having clutter so anything multi functional is a plus!

I’ve heard so many great things about Dock-a-Tot! I read about it after we’d already bought those type of things for our newborn so missed out on the best time to put it to use. Perhaps for baby #2, whenever that ends up happening. Agree though, multi-functional is a must! PS, for the contest, I’ll need to reach back out to you via email. Can you let me know here your email? Only will be used for notification purposes. Thank you!

My little one is currently 4 months and she currently loves anything that plays music and lights up. The first toy that she loves is the VTech Busy Learners Activity Cube. It keeps her occupied and curious for a long time, it also helps her develop her hand eye coordination. She also LOVES her jumperoo. I think she loves the fact that she can “stand up” independently without being held and is super curious with all the activities/toys attached around it.

Music and lights are magic. (As is anything that allows them to embrace that independence… that’s a feeling that only grows stronger on their end!) I am so fascinated by them as well! We’d already bought one before we heard of them, but this seems like such a smart and useful option.

I’ve been obsessed/overwhelmed with baby carrier options! I love the idea of babywearing and feel like I want to try all carriers before picking one, but my little one arrives in June!

So understandable! I was overwhelmed as well and shows like this were so helpful in talking to the companies and really understanding how their products are different from each other. This was when we fell in love with the Ergobaby 360! For the contest, I’ll need to reach back out to you via email. Can you let me know here your email? Only will be used for notification purposes. I have been obsessed with finding the right stroller system. I even made a spreadsheet to compare them all.

Totally can relate to this. We had a spreadsheet too. Good call on your end! Trying them in person totally helps – and remembering you’ll be lugging it alllll over. That was an important consideration for us. PS, for the contest, I’ll need to reach back out to you via email. Can you let me know here your email? Only will be used for notification purposes. I’ve been doing way too much research on travel strollers! So many choices and everyone has their own preferences! Hope I don’t end up with buyers remorse 🙂

You know, we didn’t get a travel stroller and I think I’m the one with buyers remorse, haha. You can always start with a bigger one and add in a travel one on down the line.
