This post is from a few months back, but just now getting to sharing it. Makes me ready for brunch, round next!

I’ve been doing lots of “one last” this and that’s, just so I did a few little things for me before Baby Z’s arrival. Being in NYC, one of those was obviously a nice weekend brunch. The question is not if there’s somewhere good to brunch, but where. I felt compelled to use this opportunity to try another new spot out of the pages upon pages of options from OpenTable.
JB and I decided on Greenwich Project. I’d always been curious to make my way there for cocktails after visiting their sister establishment, Mulberry Project, but had yet to go. The outside wasn’t very telling at all. We walked up and I had no clue what to expect on the inside behind this white curtain. Whereas Mulberry Project has dark lighting and is much more focused on cocktails, Greenwich Project had more of a sophisticated, crisp restaurant vibe to it. The restaurant is nice and open and even has a separate upstairs space.
We chose Greenwich Project in large part based on their nice-sized brunch menu. They have a large section of egg dishes, another with griddle and sandwich selections, and a number of sides from which to choose. I loved being able to go with a more diner-style selection between the griddle and sides of lemon ricotta pancakes and a side of scrambled eggs. Perfection.
I can’t say enough nice things about the staff at Greenwich Project. They were so attentive and were very warm with their wishes for Baby Z and his impending arrival. Of course, we had to follow this visit by a trip next door for one final pedicure, which made for a perfect Sunday out!
