honeymoon in cinque terre

June 28, 2019 by Lara Leave a Comment

It’s crazy that this year marks four years. Four years since I walked down the aisle in the back of the borrowed Brooklyn brownstone (how I like to instead think of the space now known as Madison May Vanderbilt) to say yes to a lifetime of adventures with T.

One thing I realized this year I’d yet to do is to document our 10 day adventure in Cinque Terre — the trip of a lifetime I’d always dreamed of and one that T so graciously allowed to become our honeymoon.

With our international journeys a bit more limited these days (hello, newborn and toddler!) and my travel itch strong as ever, I’ll be using the next several weeks to go back and share about this amazing journey. It took a bit of research to land at the best trip format for us so I hope that this information may be helpful to you if you want to plan a trip to the area or, if nothing else, allow you to see how beautiful this region is for yourself!

Below is our itinerary to give you a bit of a sense of the trip I’ll be taking you all with me on down memory lane:

  • Day 1: Land in Genoa (Hotel: B&B Home Grifondo)
  • Day 2-4: Riomaggiore (Hotel: Colombo Guesthouse)
  • Day 5-7: Monterosso al Mare (Hotel: Affittacamere Anita)
  • Day 8-9: Santa Margherita Ligure (Hotel: MA Hotel)
  • Day 10: Night in Genoa, then back to home (Hotel: Grand Hotel Savoia)

Looking forward to sharing more over the coming months!
