uptown brunch at row house

September 11, 2016 by Lara Leave a Comment

A few weeks back after my baby shower, I made my way up to the upper Upper West Side to meet two of my favorite Jenns for brunch. It was yet another one of those 90+ degree August days, but we didn’t let that keep us from brunching (indoors, of course) at Row House.

As good as the egg dishes looked on the menu, I couldn’t resist trying their stuffed French toast – custard soaked brioche, Nutella, pecans and bananas foster sauce, served along with a side of whipped cream. It was so good. Definitely on the heavier side for French toast, but to be expected with all of the ingredients.

Next time, I will have to try their shrimp and grits or mac ‘n cheese, both which are supposed to be fabulous. Great service, too. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re up in the area!

And, of course, the best thing about brunch wasn’t on the menu. Great squeezing in some more time with these two!
